Hispanic Development Corporation Funding

The Hispanic Development Corporation is an all volunteer organization. Each year the monies that remain after funding the Portraits of Success Recognition Luncheon and the Hispanic Youth Leadership Conference go back into the community in the form of grants of up to $500 to non-profit programs which focus on educational activities for children. HDC is currently soliciting requests for funding from such non-profit organizations. Requests for funding should be sent to: Hispanic Development Corporation, P.O. Box 640923, San José, CA 95164-0923. Following are a few of the programs HDC has funded in recent years:
  • El Teatro de los Pobres, Teatro Program High School.
  • Washington, DC Leadership Training Trip and Conference
  • The Grail Child Development Center.
  • James Lick High School—Athletic Program.
  • Lyndale Literacy Program
  • East Side Kiwanis Turn-Around Scholarship Program
  • Leadership Training Scholarship in Washington, D.C.
  • San José State University GEAR UP Program at W.C. Overfelt High School

Hispanic Development Corporation urges you to continue supporting this event, as it is the only program that recognizes the talent and skills of individuals who have demonstrated commitment to their communities. We are surrounded by many talented Hispanic citizens. Let us celebrate their success and achievements by nominating these individuals who serve as role models for our youth
